At every level throughout BTP you’ll find training and development to ensure that you fulfill your potential. This starts with an Induction course that will teach you all you need to know about BTP and what we do. Following on from this, you’ll then attend Diversity and Customer Service training days.
Once you have become an established member of your team you’ll continue to further develop your skills with various online e-learning packages, on the job training and classroom programmes.
Your Line Manager will help to keep you on track with regular updates and help you to identify and fill any skill gaps you have. You’ll work together to agree a clear, structured career and development plan so you can achieve all of your goals.
Educational Assistance Programme
Where applicable our Educational Assistance Programme helps you to achieve qualifications, with financial assistance and the opportunity to study on a day release basis.
Leadership Development Programme
We also offer a Core Leadership Development Programme to all of our managers. The Leadership Programme helps those in supervisory/managerial roles to develop leadership skills. The programme supports you in the development for your current role and can help prepare you for your next role.
The Leadership Programme is also accredited by the Chartered
Management Institute and offers you the opportunity to gain a
nationally recognised qualification.
